Faresa Z Weragoda, MD

Dr. Faresa Weragoda is a board-certified physician in Cardiovascular Disease, Adult Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology, and Vascular Ultrasound

Dr. Weragoda is an honor graduate of the Morehouse School of Medicine, and was elected as a member of the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She then completed her Residency in Internal Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine, where she also later completed her Fellowship in Cardiology. She has traveled the world through multiple clinical rotations, providing care in Ethiopia, South Africa, and Bangladesh.

She has also taken an active role in quality improvement research at Grady Memorial Hospital, where she worked with an interdisciplinary team to improve heart failure services.
