Walid Hmissa, DO

Dr. Walid Hmissa is a board-certified internal medicine physician with clinical interests in diabetes, hyperlipidemia, hypertension and obesity medicine. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science from Florida Gulf Coast University and his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine. He went on to complete his internal medicine residency with Northside Hospital in Lawrenceville, Georgia.

Dr. Hmissa is passionate about building long-term, collaborative relationships with his patients. His approach to care emphasizes prevention, education and effective management of chronic conditions. He is committed to providing evidence-based, patient-centered care that respects each individual’s values, goals and unique health journey.
