Tonya Marie Hemmings, CNM

Tonya Hemmings is a certified nurse midwife who offers a full range of services to her patients. She specializes in well-woman care, health screenings, contraceptive care, sexually transmitted disease screenings, and prenatal care, from labor and delivery to postpartum management and breastfeeding support. Tonya empowers her patients to be advocates for their health, as well as the health of their families and communities, through education and encouragement. Trusting in the amazing power of a woman’s body and working to decrease the overall cesarean rate, she works with her patients to achieve the best birthing experience possible. Because the health of mothers and newborns is paramount to her, Tonya works hard to ensure successful breastfeeding.

Outside the office, Tonya cherishes time with her family. They love vacationing together at Disney and the beach. She also enjoys reading and running races with her husband and close friends.
