Todd Cecil Bonvallet, MD

Dr. Todd C. Bonvallet is a fellowship-trained, board-certified spine surgeon, who specializes in the diagnosis, treatment and management of the full spectrum of spinal disorders. He has over 20 years in practice, and has a clinical interest in reconstructive surgery of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine, minimally invasive spinal surgery, artificial disc replacements and treatment for spinal tumors.

Dr. Bonvallet has taught spinal surgery to orthopedic surgery residents at the University of Tennessee as well as the Hughston Clinic for almost 16 years. In addition, he has been involved in research and the development of multiple spinal implants that are currently in use today.

Dr. Bonvallet’s goal is to provide the best state-of-the-art care to patients who suffer from all types of spinal disorders. By using tried and proven minimally invasive surgical and non-surgical techniques, he is able make dramatic changes in the lives of his patients by reducing their pain, enhancing function, and helping them return to activity. He believes in taking the time to explain the patient’s problems in an understandable and clear way and to provide individualized treatment options that best fits their problem.
