Suzanne P. Smith, MD

Dr. Suzanne Smith is a board-certified radiation oncologist with more than 20 years of experience across academic, public and private practice settings. Since completing her residency in Radiation Oncology at Emory University, she has worked in private practice in the Atlanta area and has provided her expertise overseas in medical student education and oncology services in the Caribbean.

Dr. Smith has co-authored research papers on triple-negative breast cancer in women of African ancestry and is deeply committed to patient-centered care and improving outcomes for her patients. She believes in meeting patients where they are, fostering trust through open communication, and empowering them to make informed decisions.

Guided by the belief that “a cheerful heart is good medicine,” Dr. Smith values balance, lifelong learning and the privilege of walking alongside her patients on their cancer journeys.

When not working, Dr. Smith enjoys art, dancing, fitness, and spending time with her loved ones.
