Shany Cohen-Sadan, MD

Dr. Shany Cohen-Sadan is a board-certified family medicine physician and a diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine. She completed her family medicine residency at the Wellstar Douglass family medicine residency program and is currently pursuing additional training in Obesity Medicine through the Columbia Cornell Obesity Medicine program. Dr Cohen-Sadan provides comprehensive care for patients of all ages, including children and adolescents, addressing both acute and chronic conditions. Her clinical focus includes preventive care, wellness, weight management, and lifestyle medicine. She performs a full spectrum of services including well-child visits, sports physicals, women's and men's health exams, and Medicare wellness exams. She has a special interest in hormone health and manages hormone replacement therapy both for women (including perimenopause or menopause), and men.

Dr Cohen-Sadan also treats ADHD in both children and adults, along with a range of mental health conditions. Her approach emphasizes preventive, patient-centered care, with a focus on optimizing sleep, stress, and overall well-being. She is committed to early intervention, sustainable lifestyle changes, and holistic support to help patient achieve long term health and improved quality of life. Outside of medicine, Dr. Cohen-Sadan enjoys spending time with her family and dogs, reading fantasy books and historic fictions, traveling and hosting themed events - including Harry Potter inspired gatherings.
