About the Provider
Dr. Shaan Patel is board-certified in Internal Medicine. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine and Master of Public Health with honors from Nova Southeastern University, Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine in Davie, FL.
He completed his Internal Medicine Residency and served as Chief Resident at Northside Hospital Gwinnett in Lawrenceville, GA. Dr. Patel also completed specialized training as an HIV Primary Care Fellow at Emory University/Grady Hospital.
Prior to joining the Diagnostic Clinic, Dr. Patel was actively involved in leadership roles, including serving on the American College of Physicians Georgia Health & Public Policy Committee and as a Delegate for the Medical Association of Georgia House of Delegates.
Dr. Patel is a member of the American College of Physicians, Infectious Diseases Society of America, and the American Academy of HIV Medicine.
