Scott D Cooper, MD

Dr. Scott Cooper is a Neurology specialist, expertly trained in the diagnosis and treatment of problems and diseases of the nervous system.

A graduate of the Ross University School of Medicine, Dr. Cooper completed an internship in family practice at Northeastern Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and then completed his residency in neurology at the Medical College of Georgia before serving as Chief Resident at the University of South Alabama.Dr. Cooper is board-certified by the American Academy of Pain Management and the American Board of Forensic Medical Examiners, and has nearly three decades of experience treating patients in the greater Atlanta area. H

e has particular expertise in the treatment of seizure disorders, neuropathic pain and carpal tunnel syndrome, and also specializes in diagnostic testing such as EEG, EMG and Sleep Studies. Prior to founding Northside Neurology, he served as a member of Medical Associates of North Georgia in Canton.
