Samuel Dacus, MD

Samuel Dacus, MD, is a general surgeon with clinical interests in robotic and minimally invasive surgery, emergency general surgery, and the treatment of a wide range of general surgical conditions. He performs procedures including hernia repair, gallbladder surgery, and appendectomy, and is committed to delivering compassionate, patient-focused surgical care. Dr. Dacus believes in taking time to listen to his patients, helping them understand their diagnosis and treatment options so they can make informed decisions with confidence.

Drawn to medicine through the example of his father, a family physician, Dr. Dacus discovered his passion for surgery during medical school. He values the opportunity to care for people from all walks of life and strives to make every patient feel heard, respected, and at ease. Known for his approachable demeanor and ability to connect with patients from diverse backgrounds, Dr. Dacus provides high-quality surgical care with clear communication and compassion.
Outside of work, Dr. Dacus enjoys spending time with his family and golden retriever. He is an avid golfer and lifelong Atlanta Braves fan who enjoys following the team whenever he can.
