Ratna Sajja, MD

Dr. Ratna Sajja is board-certified as a Radiation Oncologist by the American Board of Radiology. She has strong professional experience in treating a wide variety of adult tumors with the latest techniques in radiation oncology today. Dr. Sajja believes in providing quality, personalized cancer care in a community setting and demonstrates that commitment daily in her patient care activities.

Dr. Sajja received her medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio, in 2000. She then completed her residency training at the world-renowned Cleveland Clinic Foundation in 2005, where she trained with many of the current leaders in the field of radiation oncology, participated in several clinical research projects, and served as chief resident. Dr. Sajja also achieved honors and distinctions throughout her prior education at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

After completing her residency training, Dr. Sajja practiced radiation oncology in the Dallas, Texas area before relocating to Georgia in 2014. In Conyers, she has been able to offer brachytherapy for accelerated partial breast irradiation (APBI), stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT) for lung and liver tumors, and fractionated stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) for metastatic brain tumors, which were not previously available in Rockdale County.

With members of her own family who have battled cancer, Dr. Sajja is attuned to the emotional needs of the patient. She strives to involve her patients in all the decision-making aspects of treatment and provides care in a thoughtful and compassionate environment.

When away from the office, Dr. Sajja enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, cooking, and traveling.
