My passion is my family and that serves as the motivation and drive behind my commitment and service to women’s health.

I obtained a Master’s in Public Health focusing on Maternal and Child Health prior to my Medical Degree and completing an OB/GYN Residency. I practiced for 8 years caring for women in all aspects of obstetrics and gynecology and was fortunate to have had the opportunity to complete a two-year fellowship in Surgical Gyn-Oncology, Radical Pelvic Surgery, and Advanced DaVinci Robotic Surgery with some of the nation’s leading experts in GYN Surgery and GYN Oncology.

I take pride in the fact that I collaborate with my patients so that I can focus on prevention, health maintenance, and early detection and treatment of conditions specific to women. I have performed several hundred robotic surgeries to date, including some very complex cases, and while I am a skilled robotic surgeon, I am also very aware that surgery may not be the best option for every situation and every patient. My approach to my patients’ care starts with my bedside manner and is focused on mutual empathy and respect for women from all walks of life.

When I am not seeing patients, I am a mom, a wife, an aunt and a daughter. I love to travel with my family, go to their soccer games on weekends and enjoy cooking good Indian food.
