Rachel Michele Brightwell, MD

Dr. Brightwell is a dual board-certified gynecologic oncologist dedicated to providing personalized, evidence-based care for women with gynecologic cancers and complex gynecologic conditions. She believes every patient deserves an individualized treatment plan tailored to their diagnosis, goals and unique needs, while prioritizing patient safety, exceptional outcomes and compassionate support throughout every stage of care.

Dr. Brightwell specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of endometrial, ovarian, cervical, vulvar and vaginal cancers, as well as advanced endometriosis and other complex gynecologic conditions. She has expertise in both minimally invasive, robotic-assisted and open surgical techniques, allowing her to offer advanced treatment options based on each patient's specific condition and preferences.

Through Northside Hospital Cancer Institute, Dr. Brightwell works closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide coordinated, comprehensive cancer care. She is committed to clear communication, thoughtful guidance and helping patients feel informed, supported and confident throughout their treatment journey.
