Michael Liu Cheng, MD

Michael Cheng, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine physician and board-eligible cardiovascular disease specialist with expertise in diagnosing and treating coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease and heart failure. He provides comprehensive general cardiology services and has advanced training in cardiovascular imaging, including transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography (TTE and TEE), nuclear cardiology and cardiac CT. Dr. Cheng uses these advanced imaging techniques to deliver accurate diagnoses and develop personalized treatment plans that help patients better understand and manage their cardiovascular health.

Dr. Cheng believes every patient should be treated with dignity, respect and kindness, following the philosophy of caring for patients as though they were family. He values building strong relationships through open communication and shared decision making, working closely with each patient to improve their heart health. His expertise in multiple cardiovascular imaging modalities allows him to provide a comprehensive approach to diagnosing and managing complex cardiovascular conditions.

Outside of work, Dr. Cheng enjoys cooking and trying new recipes, traveling, weightlifting and fitness, reading and skiing.
