About the Provider
Meenakshi Iyer, MD is board certified in Endocrinology and Internal Medicine and earned her medical degree from Mahadevappa Rampure Medical College in Gulbarga, Karnataka, India. Dr. Iyer completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio and completed a fellowship in Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism at the University of Cincinnati. She is a member of the Endocrine Society and the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology.
Dr. Iyer has clinical interests in diabetes, thyroid disorders, osteoporosis and bone health, adrenal disorders pituitary problems and PCOS and has expertise with insulin pumps, CGM, interpretation of DXA scans and FNA thyroid nodules.
In her free time, Dr. Iyer enjoys running, singing, cooking healthy food, learning classical Indian music and spending time with her family.
