Maya Lucas, MD

Dr. Maya Lucas is a board-certified internal medicine physician whose areas of clinical interest include obesity medicine, preventative care and chronic disease management. Along with those areas of specialty, she also brings expertise in HIV treatment and prevention, as well as LGBTQ health.

Dr. Lucas’s philosophy of care centers on partnership, she strives to be a trusted guide on each patient’s journey toward better health. She values the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in her patients’ lives every day, in both the good moments and the bad. Known for her ability to connect with people, Dr. Lucas is deeply committed to providing inclusive, individualized care and her fluency in Spanish and French enables her to reach and support a broader range of patients.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Lucas enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, exploring new places and cooking.
