Matthew Taylor Simmons, MD

Dr. Matthew Simmons is a fellowship-trained sports medicine physician with board certifications in family medicine and sports medicine. He specializes in non-operative orthopedics, providing diagnosis and treatment for sports-related injuries including fractures, sprains and tendon injuries, as well as care for concussions, performance medicine and medical conditions in athletes.

Care for Patients of all Ages

Dr. Simmons is extensively experienced in serving the Cherokee County communities, and has treated patients of all ages and skill levels, including pediatric, student and recreational athletes. He has served as team physician for numerous schools, including Louisiana State University, Southern University and Parkview Baptist High School, and currently serves as a team physician for Cherokee County School District Athletics, as well as Reinhardt University.
