Mary-Katherine Lynch, MD

Mary-Katherine Lynch, MD, is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in the treatment of hand and upper extremity conditions. She provides comprehensive care for conditions affecting the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder, offering both surgical and nonsurgical treatment options tailored to each patient’s individual needs, goals, and lifestyle.

Dr. Lynch takes a patient-centered approach to care, emphasizing education and shared decision-making. She believes patients should understand their diagnosis and all available treatment options so they can feel informed and confident in decisions about their care. While she enjoys the precision and problem-solving involved in surgery, she believes in exploring nonsurgical treatments whenever appropriate.

Dr. Lynch was drawn to orthopedic surgery by the opportunity to help patients regain function and independence. She finds it especially rewarding to guide patients through recovery and help them get back to doing what they love.

A former Division I athlete, Dr. Lynch understands firsthand the importance of staying active and returning to the activities you enjoy. Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and following NCAA gymnastics, wrestling, and lacrosse.
