Dr. Ali completed a General Surgery residency and internship at Mayo Clinic Arizona, and an additional Postdoctoral year as a Surgical Outcomes Research Fellow at Mayo Clinic. She has published articles in peer reviewed scientific journals and presented at local and national meetings. She is also a member of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Ali attended Medical College of Georgia where she received her Doctor of Medicine and was inducted into the Gold Humanism and Alpha Upsilon Phi Service and Leadership Honor Societies. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Kennesaw State University where she was an Honors scholar, member of Phi Kappa Phi and graduated cum laude.
Dr. Ali enjoys spending time with her family. Her hobbies include collecting vinyl records, cooking, travel, hiking and reading.
