Lizzette Serrano, CNP

Lizzette Serrano is a board-certified adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner specializing in thoracic surgery. She has a clinical interest in pulmonology, particularly the care and treatment of patients with malignant conditions.

Lizzette brings more than five years of nursing experience in medical and cardiac intensive care units, where she provided direct care to high-acuity patients. Her diverse clinical background also includes travel nursing assignments in five states, which allowed her to care for patients across a variety of health care settings and communities.

She is committed to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care while balancing empathy with evidence-based practice. Lizzette values the opportunity to support patients throughout their healthcare journey and finds fulfillment in witnessing their progress and recovery. 

Outside of work, Lizzette enjoys staying active through marathon training.
