Lateefah Richelle-Barber Zischke, CNM

Richelle Zischke is a certified nurse-midwife providing supportive, patient-centered care throughout pregnancy, labor and the postpartum period. Her path to midwifery was shaped by a strong nursing background and her own experiences with pregnancy and childbirth.

Richelle began her career as a pediatric nurse and later worked in pediatric intensive care. During her transition into motherhood, she developed a deep interest in labor and delivery and became passionate about advocating for women during this pivotal time. She returned to school to pursue advanced training in nurse-midwifery and has since focused her practice on education, empowerment and compassionate care.

As a midwife, Richelle believes that informed decision-making and patient education are essential to positive birth experiences. She values the opportunity to support women as they transition into motherhood and through other important stages of life.

Outside of the clinic, Richelle enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, including her two children, and traveling.
