Kevin J Friedrich, MD

Kevin Friedrich, MD, is a board-certified general surgeon specializing in minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgery using the da Vinci robot for a wide range of general surgical conditions. He cares for patients with hernias, gallbladder disease, appendicitis and colonic disorders, with clinical interests in robotic surgery, minimally invasive emergency surgery and complex hernia surgery. Fellowship-trained in surgical critical care, Dr. Friedrich is committed to using advanced surgical techniques that support rapid recovery and prioritize functionality to help patients return to the activities that matter most.

Dr. Friedrich believes exceptional surgical care begins with being friendly, available, knowledgeable, and committed to clear communication. He partners closely with patients and their care teams to set expectations, guide treatment decisions, and achieve the best possible outcomes. His passion for general surgery stems from the opportunity to treat a broad range of conditions through both surgical and nonsurgical care.

Outside of work, Dr. Friedrich enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, hiking and skiing.
