Joseph Bowen Song, MD

Dr. Joseph Song, a Georgia native, earned his biology degree summa cum laude from Emory University on a full Robert W. Woodruff Scholarship. He went on to receive his medical degree and complete his urology residency at Washington University in St. Louis, supported by a full William A. Peck Scholarship.

He has received multiple honors, including the American Urological Association’s Prize Abstract Award and the World Congress in Endourology’s Best Paper Award. Dr. Song has published extensively and presented nationally on topics such as urologic cancers, BPH, erectile dysfunction, kidney stones, and surgical outcomes.

He holds staff privileges at Northside Duluth and Northside Gwinnett Hospitals. 

Outside of medicine, Dr. Song enjoys astronomy, woodworking, gardening, cooking, and playing the violin. He and his wife, a fellow Duluth High alum, live locally with their two children and chihuahua spaniel. Dr. Song practices at Georgia Urology’s Duluth and NAUA Lawrenceville offices.
