Hamzah Mansoura, MD

Dr. Hamzah Mansoura is a double board-certified surgeon specializing in general surgery and surgical critical care, with expertise in trauma and acute care surgery including complex chest and abdominal trauma, postoperative intensive care management and ECMO cannulation.

Dr. Mansoura approaches patient care with a strong commitment to advocating for what is best for each patient. He values the opportunity to make a difference in his patients' recovery and finds the greatest satisfaction in helping patients improve. Throughout his career, he has received multiple honors including first place at the 2024 BUMC Research Symposium and the BITE Recognition Award.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Mansoura serves as an instructor for the Advanced Surgical Skills for Exposure in Trauma course. Outside of medicine, he enjoys classic car restoration, playing soccer, fishing and spending time outdoors.
