Dr. Scharyj was born in Louisville, Kentucky, and raised in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He attend Wake Forest University, graduating with a Bachelor degree in Chemistry.
After graduation, he earned his Medical Degree from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine in 1983. He completed his residency program at Bowman Dray School of Medicine in Winston-Salem in 1986.
Dr. Scharyj lives in Alpharetta and has provided care in Duluth and Tucker for more than 20 years.
