Fredy Hany-Alfy El Sakr, MD

Dr. Fredy El Sakr knows firsthand how heart disease can affect families, as his father suffered a heart attack. This personal experience inspires Dr. El Sakr’s practice, and he treats his patients as he would his own family, often in their time of greatest need. He believes in being closely engaged with his patients and he strives to provide them with the highest level of care. Dr. El Sakr provides state-of-the-art care for patients with even the most complex conditions.

Dr. El Sakr is board certified in cardiovascular medicine. His clinical interests include coronary artery disease, structural heart disease including aortic valve disease and mitral valve disease. Dr. El Sakr specializes in complex coronary artery disease, treatment of aortic stenosis (transcatheter aortic valve replacement/ TAVR), and the treatment of mitral regurgitation (MitraClip).

In his free time, Dr. El Sakr enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife and their son. He also enjoys playing sports such as basketball, as well as watching both professional and college sports.
