Fahmia Rahman, MD

Fahmia Rahman, MD, is an internal medicine physician who provides comprehensive primary care with a focus on prevention, chronic disease management and evidence-based medicine. Her clinical interests include hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, obesity, depression and anxiety. Dr. Rahman also provides annual wellness visits, preventive screenings and women's health services, including Pap smears, helping patients manage both immediate concerns and long-term health goals.

Dr. Rahman's philosophy of care centers on understanding each patient as a whole person, recognizing that health is shaped by more than a diagnosis alone. She values listening carefully, educating patients and partnering with them to develop practical, individualized plans that support their overall health and well-being. She especially enjoys building long-term relationships with patients, learning their stories and helping them navigate both challenges and successes throughout their healthcare journey.

Originally from Georgia, Dr. Rahman enjoys gardening and exploring new cities and cuisines in her free time.
