Eric Richard Simms, MD

Dr. Simms is a board-certified general surgeon specializing in minimally invasive robotic and laparoscopic surgeries. He has a wide range of clinical interests, including complex foregut, bariatric and solid organ surgeries.

With the technical range to tackle the most demanding cases, Dr. Simms strives to offer his patients the most advanced surgical approach available while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. He believes excellent surgical care begins with understanding each patient's unique circumstances and goals to develop individualized treatment plans.

Dr. Simms was drawn to surgery by the opportunity to make a meaningful impact during some of the most critical moments in a patient's life. He values building trusting relationships with his patients and finds great satisfaction in helping them regain their health and quality of life.

Outside of work, Dr. Simms enjoys writing fiction, fine-point illustration, Ukrainian Easter egg making, studying history and spending time with his family.
