Edward Larry Long III, MD

Edward Long, MD, is a board-certified general surgeon specializing in minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgery using the da Vinci robot for a wide range of general surgical conditions including hernias, biliary disease, diverticulitis, skin and soft tissue conditions. Dr. Long is committed to using advanced surgical techniques to provide precise, patient-focused treatment while supporting recovery and helping patients return to their daily lives.

Dr. Long believes exceptional surgical care begins with a patient-centered approach and shared decision making. He values listening to each patient's concerns, clearly explaining treatment options and partnering with patients to develop individualized treatment plans. His passion for general surgery comes from the opportunity to care for a wide variety of conditions while helping patients feel better and continually expanding his knowledge and skills.

Outside of work, Dr. Long enjoys hiking, camping, reading, golfing and spending time with family and friends.
