David Robert Schmidt, MD

David Schmidt, MD, FACS, is a board-certified general surgeon specializing in minimally invasive surgery and robotic-assisted surgery using the da Vinci robot. He cares for patients with hernias, gallbladder disease, adrenal disorders and colorectal conditions, with expertise in endocrine surgery, single incision laparoscopic colon surgery, and robotic and laparoscopic hernia repair. Dr. Schmidt is committed to achieving the best possible surgical outcomes through advanced surgical techniques that reduce invasiveness, support recovery and help patients return to their daily activities as quickly as possible.

Dr. Schmidt believes the best surgical outcomes come from delivering the least invasive treatment appropriate for each patient. He values treating every patient like family, building trust through clear communication and providing compassionate, individualized care focused on achieving outstanding results.

Outside of work, Dr. Schmidt enjoys spending time with his wife, walking their dog, working out, golfing and taking an annual ski trip.
