About the Provider
Dr. Daniel Canter grew up in the Washington D.C. area and earned a BFA in Film and TV Production from NYU, cum laude, before receiving his medical degree as valedictorian from George Washington University School of Medicine. He completed his urology residency at the University of Pennsylvania and a fellowship in urologic oncology at Fox Chase Cancer Center.
Dr. Canter specializes in urologic cancers and leads Georgia Urology’s Advanced Prostate Cancer team and clinical research efforts. He has authored over 125 peer-reviewed publications and 20 textbook chapters and is a member of professional organizations including the SUO, AUA, and BCAN.
He holds staff privileges at Northside Hospital.
Outside of work, he enjoys time with his wife, two children, and their dog.
