Claudia Maira, PAC

Claudia Maira is a board-certified, Sports Medicine Physician Assistant in our Canton and Acworth locations. She assists Dr. Nicholson in the operating room and is involved in post-op care for sports injuries and total joints. She specialized in evaluating and treating patients with knee and shoulder complaints, as well as, in office procedures such as, injections, joint aspirations, and casting.

Believing in being patient, caring, and compassionate, Claudia takes the time to ensure each patient understands their treatment plan, feels comfortable, and has all their questions answered. Building strong patient relationships is a priority, fostering trust and confidence in the care provided.

Inspired by a personal medical experience with DVT at age 11 and a passion for collegiate basketball, Claudia pursued a career in sports medicine. She takes a special interest in helping her patients return to their active lifestyles.
