Christopher Joon Ki Kim, MD, PharmD

Christopher J Kim, MD, PharmD, is a distinguished healthcare professional with a comprehensive background in both pharmacy and medicine. Originally from New Jersey, Dr. Kim began his academic journey at the Rutgers- Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy, where he earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree. He graduated summa cum laude at Rutgers, as he developed a deep commitment to patient care and clinical excellence, which guided his practice as a pharmacist prior to pursuing a medical degree. He earned his medical degree at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School on a full academic scholarship, under the George Smith Endowed Scholarship Trust.

Dr. Kim then advanced his training at the prestigious Duke University Medical Center, where he completed a urology residency. During his residency, he gained extensive experience in urology from world-class leaders, and his research contributions have been recognized in several peer-reviewed journals.

An active member of the American Urological Association, Dr Kim has contributed to several manuscripts, abstracts, and conferences. He is also fluent in Korean and is very passionate about advancing urologic healthcare access in the Asian-American patient population.

With a unique blend of expertise in both pharmacy and urology, Dr. Kim specializes in all areas of general urology including urologic oncology, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), complex kidney stone disease, erectile dysfunction, overactive bladder (OAB), and urinary incontinence in men and women. He has specialized training in the newest technologies in urologic surgery, including Da Vinci Robotics, GreenLight photo vaporization of the prostate, Rezum, Urolift, Axonics Sacral Nerve Stimulation, Aquablation therapy of the prostate, and high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) ablation of the prostate.

Dr Kim is an avid New York sports fan and enjoys the Atlanta food scene.
