Christopher Cullen Scott, MD

Dr. C. Cullen Scott is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in joint replacements, fracture and trauma care, and advanced arthroscopy of the knee and shoulder. A native Georgian, Dr. Scott completed his medical education at the Mercer University School of Medicine, then completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Atlanta Medical Center. He and his wife, Heather, have four children and reside in Braselton, GA.

Expert Care for Patients of all Ages and Skill Levels

Dr. Scott is extensively experienced in treating patients of all ages, including those at the pediatric/youth, high school, college and professional levels. He brings over 20 years of experience of serving patients in Georgia. Prior to joining Sports Medicine South of Gwinnett, he was in practice as an orthopedic surgeon at Specialty Orthopedics in Northeast Georgia, and at Meadows Regional Medical Center in Vidalia, Ga. He has served as the Team Physician for many high schools and colleges throughout Georgia.

Expertise in Joint Replacement and Complex Injuries

As a former competitive athlete and high level soccer player himself, Dr. Scott is passionate about returning patients to activity, and understands how injuries and wear and tear can impact athletic performance and daily life. He has experience in complex fracture care including trauma, has a special interest in hip and knee replacements, and has performed many minimally invasive arthroscopic surgeries of the knee and shoulder.

In his free time, Dr. Scott enjoys spending time traveling with his wife and four children, competitive shooting, flying, and fitness.
