Chi Zhang, MD

Dr. Chi Zhang is a board certified cardiologist who specializes in atrial fibrillation and flutter ablation, SVT and PVC ablation, pacemaker and ICD implantation as well as LAA occlusion. After completing his undergraduate education at Harvard University, he went to receive his doctorate and complete residency at Vanderbilt before moving to New York to complete his fellowships in cardiology and electrophysiology. 

Dr. Zhang says that electrophysiology encompasses everything that initially drew him to medicine. Having the opportunity to meet new people, solve clinical challenges and hone his procedural skillset to treat arrhythmias and improve the quality of life of his patients is extremely important to him. 

Dr. Zhang’s philosophy of care includes treating the patients, not just the disease. He hopes to cultivate an empowering environment where the patients can learn and understand their conditions and discuss their medical goals freely—all while receiving state-of-the-art care. 

In his free time, Dr. Zhang enjoys running, writing haikus, exploring new restaurants and spending time with his spouse and children.
