Carter Cooper was raised in Atlanta. He attended the Atlanta public schools before going to Georgia Tech where he earned his bachelor's degree with highest honor. He attended PA school at Emory University where he obtained the Master of Medical Science degree. He is a guest lecturer at Emory and at Mercer University and has been selected Teacher of the Year. He has worked with Dr Steuer over twenty years, assisting in all aspects of patient care, pre-op, post-op, and assisting in surgery.
