Benjamin J Flink, MD

Benjamin J. Flink, MD, FACS, MPH, is a board-certified bariatric/general surgeon specializing in robotic surgery, gastric bypass, sleeve gastrectomy, single anastomosis duodenal-ileal bypass (SADI), bariatric revision surgery, hiatal hernia repair, anti-reflux surgery, achalasia treatment, inguinal hernia repair, and ventral hernia repair. He is also board-certified in obesity medicine.

After graduating from Duke University Medical School, Dr. Flink completed his general surgery residency at Emory University. While at Emory, he completed a quality improvement fellowship with the Veterans Affairs Quality Scholars Program and earned a Master of Public Health from the Rollins School of Public Health. He finished his training with an Advanced GI/MIS and Bariatric Fellowship at Stony Brook University.

Dr Flink provides a comprehensive approach to weight loss, offering both bariatric surgery and medical weight loss management. He focuses on helping patients improve their weight and address other health conditions to improve the quality of their lives.

Dr. Flink chose to enter the bariatric and general surgery fields because he finds the work rewarding. He approaches his patients from a place of empathy and strives to deliver high-quality, innovative care. Dr Flink speaks both English and Spanish.
