About the Provider
Dr. Beatrix Ohienmhen, MD, FAAP is a board-certified pediatrician dedicated to partnering with families to help children thrive from infancy through adolescence. She earned her medical degree from the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences and completed her pediatric residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School/Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters in Norfolk, Virginia. She also serves North Central Georgia as the District XV representative for the Georgia Chapter American Academy of pediatrics.
Dr. Ohienmhen is passionate about building lifelong healthy habits and providing compassionate, evidence-based care. Her clinical interests include preventive pediatrics, asthma management, adolescent health, and supporting children and teens with common mental health concerns such as anxiety, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, and depression. She also provides care for acne, contraceptive counseling, and in-office treatment of molluscum contagiosum.
Dr. Ohienmhen understands that parenting can feel overwhelming, especially with the abundance of health information available today. She is committed to listening carefully to each family’s concerns, providing personalized recommendations grounded in the latest medical evidence, and empowering parents to make informed decisions with confidence. She believes that every child deserves individualized care and that the strongest healthcare decisions are made through a trusted partnership between families and their pediatrician.
Outside the office, Dr. Ohienmhen enjoys distance running with her husband, including half marathons and marathons, and spending time with their two beloved dogs. She looks forward to building lasting relationships with families and helping every child reach their fullest potential.
