Ayodeji Sotimehin, MD

Dr. Ayodeji Sotimehin is an Associate Physician at Georgia Urology, joining in August 2025. An Atlanta native, he earned his undergraduate degree in Chemistry with a minor in Visual Arts from Emory University and his M.D. from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, receiving multiple academic distinctions. He completed his urology residency at the Cleveland Clinic, serving as chief resident.

Dr. Sotimehin specializes in kidney cancer, benign prostatic hyperplasia, priapism in sickle cell disease, and nerve regeneration for stress urinary incontinence. His research has been published in leading journals, including The Journal of Urology and Sexual Medicine, and presented at national conferences such as AUA and SUFU.

A passionate advocate for diversity in urology, Dr. Sotimehin is also an accomplished visual artist and enjoys tennis, pickleball, kayaking, cooking, and playing the ukulele.
