Andrew Da-Wei Yen, MD

Dr. Andrew Yen practices a patient-centered approach, and he invites his patients to be involved with their care. As a diagnostician, Dr. Yen subscribes to the “measure twice, cut once” approach before making a clinical decision and he strives to communicate the importance of preventive measures with his patients. He finds great satisfaction in connecting with patients as individuals and has taken efforts over his medical training and career to provide an environment of trust and understanding where the free exchange of ideas and opinions is encouraged.

An interventional cardiologist, Dr. Yen is board certified in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology. He specializes in minimally invasive procedures used to diagnose and treat heart conditions, interventions on complex total blockages of the coronary artery and implantable stroke prevention devices.

Dr. Yen’s clinical interests include coronary and peripheral angiography, chronic total occlusions and left atrial appendage occlusion.

In his free time, Dr. Yen enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, as well as golfing and playing ice hockey.
