Andrew Ara Pridjian, MD

Dr. Andrew Pridjian is a fellowship-trained urologist specializing in the minimally invasive treatment of urologic cancers and benign conditions. He is especially skilled in robotic surgery for invasive bladder cancer, kidney cancer, testicular cancer, and prostate cancer. He received his medical degree from Thomas Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. While there, he was elected as president of the Student Council as well as president of the Urology Society. After completing his internship in general surgery at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, Dr. Pridjian headed back to Philadelphia to complete his residency training in urology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital where he served as chief resident in the Urology Department in his final year.

Following his residency, Dr. Pridjian returned to Los Angeles, California to complete a fellowship at the University of Southern California (USC) in advanced robotic surgery and urologic oncology. At USC, he had the opportunity to learn from some of the most experienced robotic surgeons in the world, including Dr. Inderbir Gill, and gained extensive experience in the minimally invasive treatment of benign and malignant urologic disease. Additionally, at USC he served as a clinical instructor for education.

Since arriving in Atlanta in 2020, he has held the title of Director of Urologic Oncology and Robotic Surgery at Urology Specialists of Atlanta. He has performed over 1,000 minimally invasive, robotic, surgeries.
