Anastasia Couvaras, MD

Dr. Anastasia Couvaras earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Georgia and her medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine. She completed her urology residency at Ochsner Clinic Foundation and a fellowship in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center, gaining advanced training in vaginal and robotic pelvic reconstructive surgery and voiding dysfunction.

Dr. Couvaras treats general urologic conditions and specializes in pelvic floor disorders, including pelvic organ prolapse, overactive bladder, urinary incontinence, recurrent urinary tract infections, and pelvic pain syndrome. She is committed to patient-centered, compassionate care and is a member of the American Urological Association, Society of Urodynamics, Female Pelvic Medicine & Urogenital Reconstruction, and the Society of Women in Urology.

A native of metro Atlanta, Dr. Couvaras is excited to return to Georgia to serve her community.
