An Young, MD

Dr. Young is a non-invasive cardiologist. Her areas of clinical interest include cardio-obstetrics, cardio-oncology, cardiovascular disease in women, coronary artery disease, and cardiovascular imaging.

Cardiology allows her to combine her interests in physiology, clinical medicine, patient care, and various diagnostic modalities to detect and treat a disease that afflicts so many. She has extensive experience in cardiovascular disease research and has published many articles on women and cardiovascular risk factors.

Her approach to care is grounded in a comprehensive approach to the patient including both understanding the etiology of their condition as well as their social circumstances that would allow for more effective treatment strategies. As a physician, Dr. Young believes good communication with her patients and their family is the key to effective care.

Dr. Young enjoys spending time with her family, travelling, and gardening in her free time.
