Amalie Nash, MD

Dr. Amalie Nash is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon with a specialization in sports medicine. She earned her medical degree and completed her orthopedic surgery residency at Emory University, where she was recognized for her academic excellence, leadership and her research contributions. She went on to complete a sports medicine fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh, where she provided orthopedic care to elite athletes at both the professional and collegiate levels, including the Pittsburgh Steelers, Pittsburgh Penguins, and Robert Morris University.

Dr. Nash offers comprehensive care for a wide range of orthopedic conditions such as knee ligament, cartilage and meniscus injuries, patella and shoulder instability and rotator cuff tears. She is skilled in performing knee, shoulder and hip arthroscopy, as well as shoulder replacements, fracture care and treatment for tendon injuries and tears.

Guided by the philosophy that doctors become better when they or their loved ones experience life as a patient, Dr. Nash strives to be the kind of physician her own family and colleagues would trust. For her, the most fulfilling part of orthopedic care is helping patients return to the activities they love, whether that is playing on the field or playing with their children and grandchildren.
