About the Provider
After growing up in the Atlanta area, Dr. Ajay Patel received his Bachelor of Science in Physics with the highest honors from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He then completed medical school and residency training at the Mayo Clinic. He has developed an expertise in treating prostate cancer, gastrointestinal cancers, and brain tumors. He is the physician lead for Georgia’s only MRI guided adaptive radiation therapy program which allows for more accurate treatment of tumors while sparing normal tissues.
In his free time, Dr. Patel enjoys biking, traveling, hiking, kayaking and spending time with friends and family.
