Adam Pyrzak, MD

Adam Pyrzak, MD, MS, FACOG is board-certified in obstetrics/gynecology and gynecologic oncology. During his 12 years of medical training, he was mentored by some of the nation’s experts in gynecologic oncology from the renowned institutions at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and The John I. Brewer Trophoblastic Disease Center.

Dr. Pyrzak has expertise in state-of-the-art therapies including laparoscopic surgery, robotic surgery, HIPEC, tumor debulking surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, and immunotherapy. Additionally, he also has expertise in treating women with complex, benign gynecologic disorders such as pelvic masses, endometriosis, fibroids, and many others. Dr. Pyrzak offers comprehensive and personalized cancer care both during and after treatment.

He has received numerous awards and accolades including the American Urogynecologic Society Excellence in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Award, the AAGL Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecology Award, the Medical College of Georgia’s Resident of the Year award, Award for Outstanding Resident Research Paper, and Award for Outstanding Performance in International Medicine. Additionally, he has also been elected to the Gold Humanism Honor Society by his peers in recognition of his outstanding compassionate care.

Dr. Pyrzak’s passion to help others fight cancer motivated him to get a Master’s Degree in Health Services and Outcomes Research. His research has been published in multiple peer-reviewed journals and has been presented at the country’s most esteemed conferences for oncology research. His research interests include improving surgical outcomes, development of novel therapeutic agents, survivorship, and improving health disparities.

During his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, traveling, and supporting the Georgia Bulldogs.
