Shibandri Das, MD

Shibandri Das, MD, is a board-certified, fellowship-trained ophthalmologist specializing in cataract, ocular hypertension and glaucoma surgery. Her expertise includes refractive cataract surgery, glaucoma evaluation and treatment, laser procedures, minimally invasive glaucoma and bleb surgeries (MIGS and MIBS), tube shunts and trabeculectomy.

Dr. Das is dedicated to preserving and restoring vision through compassionate, personalized care. With a prestigious academic background and advanced fellowship training in glaucoma, she combines knowledge of the latest medical and surgical treatments with a patient-centered approach. She takes time to listen, educate and involve patients in decisions about their eye health and finds it especially rewarding to help them maintain their vision and quality of life.

Dr. Das has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and serves as an author for Glaucoma Today. She joined Atlanta Ophthalmology Associates in 2026 and enjoys spending time with her husband and extended family here in Atlanta, watching sports games, exploring new restaurants, and traveling to new countries.
