Board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology, female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Barbara R. Henley is a highly accomplished Urogynecologist specializing in Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery.

Dr. Henley received her undergraduate degree from Princeton University in Molecular Biology, where she was in the U.S. Army Reserve Officers’ Training Corp and honored as the Distinguished Military Graduate. She completed four years of active duty in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged as an Army Captain. She received her medical degree at the University of Maryland School Of Medicine then completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Pennsylvania Hospital. She accomplished a subspecialty fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Dr. Henley’s expertise includes vaginal and robotic surgery, intravesical Botox for overactive bladder, and sacroneuromodulation for urinary and bowel incontinence. Dr. Henley believes in understanding her patients’ concerns and collaborating with them to develop personalized treatment plans.

She also finds joy in supporting her twin toddlers and embracing a balanced lifestyle through activities like yoga and running.
