Abigail Charlotte Watts, MD

Dr. Abigail Watts earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in 2016. She completed her residency training in Internal Medicine at Emory University and subsequently served as the Chief Resident in Quality and Safety at the Atlanta Veterans Affairs Medical Center. She completed fellowship training in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Texas Medical Branch in 2023.

Dr. Watts is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, and Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Watts has particular clinical interests in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), sepsis, and shock. Her approach to care emphasizes evidence-based medicine, clear communication, and collaboration with patients and their families.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Watts enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.
